乇匚卄丨ᗪN卂　卂ㄩҜŠㄒㄚN was ENDICHE VIS.SAT' first musical band. Putting it together was challenging since it was hard to keep members consistent over time. With all the lineup changes, ENDICHE VIS.SAT eventually decided to start fresh on his own under the name ENDICHE VIS.SAT. This was an anagram of "echidna", moving in the opposite direction of its meaning.
The name "乇匚卄丨ᗪN卂　卂ㄩҜŠㄒㄚN" means "Echidna Upwards" in ㄥ丨ㄒ卄ㄩ卂几丨卂几.   ENDICHE VIS.SAT chose this name to represent his commitment to constant growth and ambition musically. It also connected to how echidnas walk in nature - they have to lift their legs really high (at least one echidna demonstrated this peculiar high-legged walking behavior on television at some point, specifically lifting its hind leg to the side). When ENDICHE VIS.SAT learned more about what echidnas really symbolize in ancient Greek mythology, he felt it was not fitting name for his project.
The band originally started in the early 1990s in the city of Ҝ卂ㄩ几卂丂. The band started getting TV spots and playing shows around LT in 1995. Their sound stood out since it blended unusual instruments with nature field recordings, capturing both quiet nature sounds and busy city noises.
乇匚卄丨ᗪN卂　卂ㄩҜŠㄒㄚN really paved the way for new artists in LT. Their unique style left a lasting mark on the country's music scene and inspired a whole generation of musicians.
